Day
1 Santiago
Upon
arrival we are met and transferred to our hotel. In the afternoon
we tour the city of Santiago visiting the most important buildings
and sites, San Francisco Church, The horse
racing Club Hipico, which is considered on
of the most beautiful in South America, the Palacio
de la Moneda actual Presidential house, the Cathedral,
Central Post Office and the City Hall. Crossing
the Mapocho River we visit some residential areas and the
San Cristobal Hill which features a zoo and wine
museum Overnight at selected hotel.

2 Puerto Mont/Puerto Varas
Morning
transfer to the airport for flight to Pto. Montt. On arrival
reception and transfer to our hotel in Puerto Varas. En route
we enjoy a city tour of Puerto Montt, starting
with the main plaza and its important buildings. Following
with a splendid panoramic view of Puerto Montt on top of the
hill Melipulli. Also is included in our tour a visit to the
picturesque Angelmó cove with its
market and craft center. We will continue to Puerto
Varas, founded by German settlers, charming city
located at Lake Llanquihue’ shores, known also as “City
of Roses”. Overnight at selected hotel. (B)
Day
3 Lake Crossing/Peulla
Today
we drive along the edge of Lake Llanquihue,
near the Calbuco Volcano, and through the
Vicente Perez Rosales National Park from
where we have a magnificent view of Osorno Volcano.
We stop at Saltos de Petrohue, where a series
of rapids and waterfalls were formed by the cooling lava from
the volcanos. In Petrohue we board the catamaran and start
the Crossing of the Lakes. We sail the beautiful
emerald-coloured waters of Lake Todos los Santos.
To the south, above the forested shore bordered by native
flora, mountains, and waterfalls we will see the defined shape
of Puntiagudo Volcano. Overnight

Day
4 Lake Crossing/Bariloche
Morning
at leisure to explore the hotel surroundings. Early afternoon
we continue crossing up to the border between Chile and Argentina,
always altering bus and boat rides, getting to Nahuel
Huapi Lake on Argentina side and reach Pto. Panuelo
from where we continue to Bariloche, fascinating city
for its ski resorts, commerce, hotels, restaurants, night
life, and gorgeous landscape. Transfer to hotel. Overnight
at selected hotel (B)
Day
5 Bariloche
After
breakfast we start a half day tour known as Short Circuit.
We visit Playa Bonita and its wonderful view
of Huemul Island and Campanario Hill where we
are transported by a chair lift to the top of the hill, we
enjoy a panoramic view of Lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreno
, El Trebol lagoon, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas,
also the Cathedral . Continuing our journey we visit Llao
Llao peninsula where we take the bridge La Angostura
which links Lake Moreno, Nahuel and Lopez Bay. Return to Bariloche
and transfer to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight

Day
6 Buenos Aires
This morning we are transferred to the airport for flight
to Buenos Aires. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening
Tango Show and dinner. Tango is still alive. A good way
of penetrating its spirit is visiting one of the restaurants
that offer tango shows where we enjoy the Tango’s sensual
magnetism taken to the stage. Overnight at selected hotel
(B,D).
Day 7 Buenos Aires
After
breakfast we start our way across the Pampas to enjoy a full
day of “Fiesta Gaucha”, where we have a
demonstration of horsemanship of the Gauchos and their
skill with ropes and bolas. We taste a real Asado Argentino
(BBQ lunch) grilled over an open fire and the rhythm of gaucho
music and dances. Return to Buenos Aires. Overnight
at selected hotel (B,L)
Day
8 Iguassu Falls
Morning
transfer to the airport for flight to Iguassu. On arrival
we are met and transferred to Iguassu Falls, boasting impressive
views of one of South America’s most stunning natural
attractions. Wrapped up in an ideal scenery of tropical rainforest,
torrents of water crash with thunderous noise, creating a
cascade of more than 240 feet high. The most spectacular fall
is Devil’s Throat, on the Argentinean side. Overnight

9 Rio de Janeiro
This
morning we enjoy a walk tour on the Brazilian side.
Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Rio de
Janeiro. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight

10 Rio de Janeiro
This
morning we enjoy a Jeep tour, driving towards the Lagoon
district until Cosme Velho, where the cog-wheel train
station to Corcovado is located. Riding the train, one reaches
the top of Corcovado Mountain about 2300 feet above
sea level, where we see the 125 foot statue of Christ the
Redeemer, built in the 1930's by Landowski (French sculptor).
From the top of this mountain we enjoy a breathtaking panorama
of Rio. The return is by the Tijuca Forest towards
Santa Teresa, a residential area of Rio of 19th century’s
architecture, home to many artists, painters and sculptors.
This Jeep Tour allows us to see the contrasts of Rio - from
the natural, between the forest and the seashore, to the man-made
in the luxurious condominiums and the slums. Afternoon at

Day
11 Rio de Janeiro
Today
we tour to Sugar Loaf Mountain, the guardian of Guannabara
Bay, where we ascend by cable car to its top for a panoramic
view of the city. We continue to busy downtown Rio, then a
view of the Sambodromo, and The Cathedral. Afternoon
at leisure. This evening we enjoy dinner at a typical “Churrascaria”,
a feast of barbecued meats marinated and roasted over charcoal
in a great Brazilian style. Then we proceed to a Samba
show, where the color and extravaganza plunge us into
the pristine Carioca’s vitality. Overnight at selected

at leisure. Evening transfer to the airport for flight back
to USA.
