Itinerary
Day 1 Buenos Aires
Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel. Buenos Aires is a European style and known as the Paris of South America. This afternoon, we enjoy a City tour driving along the 9 de Julio Avenue and visiting places of interest such as Plaza de Mayo, Presidential House “Casa Rosada”, the cathedral, the National Congress, the picturesque Boca district, the Recoleta Cemetery, and the Colon Opera House. Overnight at selected hotel. (D)

Day 2 Iguassu Falls
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Iguassu. On arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we visit the majestic Iguassu Falls, boasting impressive views of one of South America’s most astonishing natural attractions. Wrapped up in ideal scenery of tropical rainforest, torrents of water crash with thunderous noise creating a cascade of more than 240 feet high. It is included in our tour the most spectacular fall Devil’s Throat, on the Argentinean side. Overnight at selected hotel (B)

Day 3 Trelew
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires and connecting flight to Trelew, a distribution centre for goods and services and a communication knot that joins different regions of the province among them and with the rest of the country. Upon arrival, transfer to Puerto Madryn, a starting point to visit interesting sites that are unique in the world. Overnight at selected hotel. (B)

Day 4 Peninsula Valdes
Full day excursion to explore Peninsula Valdez, a geographical accident resembling an island attached to the continent by a narrow part, which is only 35 Km. wide, named Istmo (isthmus) Ameghino. We visit Caleta Valdes, the habitat of the sea elephants, Punta Delgada, and Puerto Piramide, where we find a Sea Lion Rockery. Return to our hotel (From July to December there is an optional boat excursion from Puerto Piramide to meet the whales). Overnight at selected hotel (B)

Day 5 Ushuaia
Early departure to Punta Tombo to admire a magnificent colony of half a million Magellan Penguins, charming animals coming year after year. They are named after Ferdinand Magellan who spotted them during his expedition to South America. Transfer to Trelew airport for flight to Ushuaia. On arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Overnight at selected hotel. (B)

Day 6 Ushuaia
Morning tour of Tierra del Fuego, visiting Rio Pipo, Monte Susana, Canadon del Toro, Roca Lake, and a brief-stop to see the “Wood House”. Then, we continue with a boat excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park; we board a catamaran for a cruise towards the east, crossing Lapataia and Ensenada, passing Redonda, Estorbo Islands, and continuing along the Beagle Channel as far as the Bridges Islands group (Pajaros and Lobos Islands). Turning at Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, we return to the port via Ushuaia Bay. Overnight at selected hotel. (B,L)

Day 7 El Calafate
Early afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to El Calafate, the gateway to the majestic world of glaciers. On arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. El Calafate (350 Km). Overnight at selected hotel, (B).

Day 8 El Calafate
Full day excursion to Onelli Bay, where Bolado, Onelli, and Agassiz Glaciers come together to make a natural amphitheater. We will depart from Port Bandera by Upsala Explorer, a 75 passenger boat, and start our cruise along the green waters of Lake Argentino, among the blue icebergs until reaching the remote Upsala Glacier. Later, we arrive on the shores of Estancia Cristina, where we continue with the adventure. We can choose from: land expeditions in 4x4 trucks, horseback riding, or nature walks. An Argentinean chef will prepare a Patagonian Grilled Lamb and a delicious buffet of desserts for us. Return to El Calafate. Overnight at selected hotel, (B,L)

Day 9 Perito Moreno Glacier
Today, we will enjoy another full day excursion to the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier about 30,000 years old. We will border the southern arm of the Argentine Lake to get to Los Glacieres National Park and reach the paths of the Glacier. Optional boat for a short sail along Brazo Rico to get closer to the ice walls. (1 hour). Return to El Calafate. Overnight at selected hotel. (B,L)

Day 10 Buenos Aires
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires. This evening, we enjoy a Tango Show and Dinner. Tango is still alive. A good way of penetrating its spirit is visiting one of the restaurants that offer tango shows, where we will enjoy the Tango’s sensual magnetism taken to the stage. Overnight at selected hotel. (B,D)

Day 11 Departure
Day at leisure to explore Buenos Aires on your own. Evening transfer to the airport for flight back to USA.
